QA Tester needed in Ikeja

Position: QA Tester

Location: Ikeja Lagos

Role Summary:

As a QA tester, you will be responsible for evaluating and ensuring the quality of software 

products, testing applications and systems to identify defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from specified 

requirements. Contribute to the delivery of high-quality, reliable software products that meets or exceeds 

user expectations, enhancing the overall success and satisfaction of the software development lifecycle.

Designing scenarios, test plans, procedures, and scripts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently analyzing test results and further reporting them to the development team.

• Proficiently executing tests on source code.

• Working efficiently with the development team to rectify errors and bugs.

• Reviewing and analyzing system specifications.

• Identify key KPIs for product quality.

• Executing manual or automated test cases and analyzing results.

• Collaborating with the dev team to develop effective test plans and strategies.

• Creating logs for documenting test phases and significant defects.

• Evaluating product codes as per specifications.

• Working proficiently with cross-functional teams, ensure quality throughout the software 

development lifecycle.

• Providing aid for troubleshooting issues.

• Conducting post-implementation or post-release testing.

Requirement/ Skills 

• At least 3 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer

• 3 years of experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated 

Testing with selenium, Test Driven Development Strategies and other.

• Minimum 2 years of experience with coding using Java.

• Minimum 2 years of experience with web security technology

• 3 years of experience with software QA tools and processes

• Must be familiar with Agile frameworks where regression testing is a plus.
