JOB SUMMARY.

Our client is seeking an experienced Aircraft Engineer specializing in private jets to join their team and 

operations for their growing fleet of aircraft. The ideal candidate will have quality years of hands-on

experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various aircraft. This role demands a high 

level of technical expertise, attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

▪ Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on private jets in accordance with 

manufacturer specification and regulatory standards.

▪ Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight checks to ensure aircraft safety and 

airworthiness.

▪ Ensure compliance with NCAA and other relevant aviation authority regulations, 

manufacture requirements and company standards.

▪ Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical and avionics issues efficiently to 

minimize downtime.

▪ Collaborate with other departments, including flight dispatch, operations, quality, and safety 

to optimize availability and reliability.

▪ Manage inventory, procurement and the use of tools, equipment, and spare parts.

▪ Develop reports of key performance indices to project aircraft availability and project 

budgets.

▪ Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and part replacements, 

accurately and in compliance with regulations.

▪ Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies and regulatory changes related to private 

jet maintenance.

▪ Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and ensure timely documentation.

REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 5-10years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance 

• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, avionics and troubleshooting procedures

• Strong knowledge of NCAA regulations and industry standards related to aircraft 

maintenance.

• Proficient knowledge of various private jet models, their systems, and avionics.

• Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements and safety protocols in the aviation 

industry.

• Exceptional organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality 

standards.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance

• Must be willing to travel as required and work flexible hours based on operational needs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation maintenance, Aeronautical Engineering, or related field

• FAA/EASA certification as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) or equivalent license

• Substantial work experience with challenger and Lear Jet models
